Day 01 : Arrive Trivandrum. Trivandrum - Kovalam by
surface (16 kms)
Meeting and assistance on arrival and proceed for half day city tour of
Trivandrum.
Visit Sree Padmanabhaswami Temple, Napier Museum, Chitralayam Arts Gallery.
(Both closed on Mondays/ Wednesday mornings),

Later drive to Kovalam and check-in at the hotel.
Kovalam (16 Kms from Trivandrum city) this international beach has been the
favourite haunt of tourist since 1930's. Kovalam consists of three adjacent
crescent beaches, the southernmost, known as lighthouse beach is the most
popular. This most renowned beach destination is much sought after for
sunbathing, water sports, shopping, catamaran cruising, yoga, meditation and
rejuvenative Ayurvedic body toning massages.
Evening free at Kovalam Beach. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02 : Kovalam - Alleppey by surface (176 kms)
After breakfast you will be transferred to Alleppey for check in House
Boat.
Alleppey :
Referred to as the Venice of the East by travelers from across the world,
this backwater country is also home to diverse animal and bird life. By
virtue of its proximity to the sea, the town has always enjoyed a unique
place in the maritime history of Kerala. Alappuzha has grown in importance
as a backwaters tourist each year, attracting several thousand of tourist.
Alappuzha is also famous for its boat races, houseboat holidays, beaches.,
marine products and coir industry.
Rest of the day at House Boat. Overnight at House Boat.
Day 03 : Alleppey - Kumarakom by surface (51 kms)
After breakfast disembark at Kumarakom and check-in at the hotel.
Kumarakom :
It is the loveliest village in Kerala blessed with natures rare gifts is on
the eastern side of vast Vembanad Lake. Kumarakom provides boating, fishing
and sightseeing experiences that are too exhilarating. An exclusive
attraction of this much sought after backwater resort is Kumarakom bird
sanctuary
Experience the Ayurvedic massage at the Resort. Rest of the day at leisure
at Kumarakom.

Day 04 : Kumarakom - Thekkady by surface (127 kms)
Early morning visit the bird sanctuary.
The Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary is an ornithologist's paradise and favourite
haunt of migratory birds like the Siberian Stork, egret, darter, heron and
teal. A cruise along the Vambanad lake is the best way to view the bird
life.
After breakfast drive to Thekkady. On arrival check in at Hotel.
Periyar :
It is South India's most popular wildlife sanctuary spread across 777sq.km.
in the picturesque rainforests of the Western Ghats
Evening boat ride on Lake Periyar to watch animals in their natural
habitat. The earliest sanctuary, it was set up in 1934 and forms part of the
mountain ranges, the Western Ghats. Cruising on Lake Periyar, you are likely
to see animals like wild boars, sambars, wild dogs, langur monkeys and wild
elephants.

Day 05 : Thekkady - Munnar by surface (124 kms)
After breakfast you will be taken for a plantation visit.
Periyar is the center of spice plantations such as Cardamom, Cloves &
Pepper apart from Coffee and Tea. Periyar with cool climate, spice-perfumed
air and endless trekking options is truly an exhilarating experience.
Afternoon drive to Munnar and check-in to Hotel.
Munnar :
Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudra Puzha, Nalla
Thanni & Kundala, this hill station was the summer resort of British
Government in South India. Sprawing tea plantations, picture-book
towns,winding lanes and holiday facility make this popular hill station.
Munnar has also has the highest peak of South India Anamudi which towers
over 2695 mtrs. It is ideal spot for trekking.

Rest of the day explore the city of Munnar.

Day 06 : Munnar
Morning after breakfast you will be taken for a sightseeing of Munnar,
which includes Rajamalai, Matuppetty, Kundala Dam. Rest of the day explore
the city of Munnar.

Day 07 : Munnar - Cochin by surface (130 kms)
After breakfast drive to Cochin.
Cochin (Kochi) is the commercial capital and most cosmopolitan city of
Kerala is, it is one of the finest natural harbours of the world, this was
once a major center of commerce and trade with British, Arabs, Chinese,
Portuguees, Dutch etc..
Afternoon sightseeing of Cochin includes Jew Synagogue, Dutch Palace,
St.Francis Church, Chinese fishing net etc. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 08 : Depart Cochin by surface (130 kms)
In time transfer to Cochin Airport/Railway station to connect flight/train
for onward destination.
