Day 01 : Arrive Delhi. Delhi - Shimla By surface
(370 Kms)
Meet and assist on arrival and drive to Shimla and check-in at the hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Shimla.
Shimla
*Shimla* the capital of Himachal Pradesh and the former summer capital of
British India, is the state's most important center. Bulging at its seams
with unprecedented expansion, Shimla retains a colonial aura, with its grand
old buildings, among them the stately Viceregal Lodge, charming iron
lampposts and Anglo-Saxon names. The Mall, packed with shops and eateries,
is the center of attraction and Scandal Point offers a view of distant snow
clad peaks.
Day 02 : Shimla
Morning we proceed for a sightseeing of Kufri and Naldera and later return
to the hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Shimla.
Day 03 : Shimla - Manali by surface (260 Kms)
Morning drive to Manali and upon arrival, check-in at hotel. Rest of the
day at leisure. Overnight stay at Manali.
*Manali* - Over the last 15 years Manali has grown from a back of the
beyond Himanchali town to a busy tourist destination. Surrounded by towering
peaks at arms length, Manali's major asset is its proximity to the snowline,
never more than a few hours drive from the town nestling at a comfortable
2,050 meters.
Day 04 : Manali
After breakfast we proceed for an excursion to Rohtang Pass & Solang
Valley. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Manali.
Day 05 : Manali
Morning a city tour of Manali visiting Vashisth Bath, Hadimba Temple.
Evening free for shopping at Mall Road. Overnight stay at Manali.
Day 06 : Manali - Chandigarh by surface (370 Kms)
Morning drive to Chandigarh and upon arrival, check-in at the hotel.
Evening a short city tour visiting the Suhana Lake and the markets.
Overnight stay at Chandigarh.

*Chandigarh* is a unique city it is a Union territory and capital of Punjab
and Haryana. The tranquil and pollution-free environs, shorter distances and
the sharp contrast between dull exteriors and plush interiors are the
delight of Chandigarh's inhabitants. A great amount of greenery, the Rock
Garden, lake and general sense of organization - all make contribute towards
making Chandigarh a charming place to visit.
Day 07 : Chandigarh - Delhi by surface (238 Kms)
Morning after visiting the Rock Garden and Pinjore Gardens, depart to Delhi
in time to board flight / train for onward destination.
Beautiful Himachal Extension
Day 01 : Delhi - Chandigarh by road (250 Kms/5-6
hrs)
Meet on arrival at Delhi and proceed to Chandigarh. Later a city tour
visiting the Suhana Lake and if time permits, the Rock Garden. Overnight
stay at Chandigarh.
Day 02 : Chandigarh Dalhousie by road
(320km/7-8 hrs)
Early morning drive to Dalhousie and check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day
at leisure.
Overnight at the hotel.
Dalhousie is named after the British governor
General, Lord Dalhousie. Snow-capped peaks and well-forested hills
consisting of pines, deodars, and oaks and flowering rhododendrons surround
it. Dalhousie still retains much of the style of the British Raj.
Day 03 : Dalhousie - Khajjiar - Dalhousie by road
(20km x 2 ways)
Morning, an excursion to Khajjiar. Overnight stay at Dalhousie.
Khajjiar sits on a small plateau with a small
stream-fed lake in the middle that is covered with weeds. The hill station
is surrounded by green meadows and dense forests. Khajjiar is often called
the Mini Switzerland of India.
Day 04 : Dalhousie - Dharamshala by road (145 Kms/4
hrs)
Morning, depart to Dharamshala. On arrival at Dharamshala, check into the
resort. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Dharamshala.
Dharamshala stands at the foot of Dhauladhar and
has a magnificent view of snowy peaks, deodar and pine forests, tea gardens
and beautiful hills. Dharamshala has a number of Tibetan settlements and the
residence of the 'Dalai Lama' at McLeod Ganj.
Dharamshala is divided into two distinct parts: Lower Dharamshala, the civil
and business area with Courts and the bazaar and Upper Dharamshala composed
of places like McLeod Ganj and Forsyth Ganj. The main attractions here are
the Kangra Art Museum, which displays arts, crafts and artifacts that date
back to the 5th century, St. John's Church, a charming church where a
memorial has been erected for the British Viceroy, Lord Elgin who died at
Dharamsala in 1863. Numerous temples like Jwalamukhi, Brijeshwari and
Chamunda lie in close proximity.
Day 05 : Dharamshala - Manali by surface (240
Kms/7hrs)
Morning drive to Manali and on arrival check-in at hotel. Rest of the day
at leisure. Overnight stay at Manali

Day 06 : Manali Rohtang Pass Manali
by road (51km x 2 ways)
Morning a half days excursion to Rohtang Pass & Solang Valley.
Evening at leisure to visit Mall Road. Overnight stay at Manali.
Rohtang Pass (3979 m) is 51kms. from Manali on
highway to Keylong/Leh. It offers a panorama and spectacular mountain view.
The pass is open from June to October each year.
Day 07 : Manali
Morning a city tour of Manali town, visiting the Hadimba Temple and the
Golden monastery. Evening at leisure for shopping on Mall Road. Overnight
stay at Manali.
Day 08 : Manali Shimla by road (260km/7 hrs)
Morning drive to Shimla. The route itself is very scenic with mountains and
the river Beas flowing swiftly on the side. Rest of the day at leisure.
